...I Love You
No New Year's Day to celebrate
No chocolate covered candy hearts to give away
No first of spring
No song to sing
In fact here's just another ordinary day
No April rain
No flowers bloom
No wedding Saturday within the month of June
But what it is, is something true
Made up of these three words that I must say to you
I just called to say I love you
I just called to say how much I care
I just called to say I love you
And I mean it from the bottom of my heart
No summer's high
No warm July
No harvest moon to light one tender August night
No autumn breeze
No falling leaves
Not even time for birds to fly to southern skies
No Libra sun
No Halloween
No giving thanks to all the Christmas joy you bring
But what it is, though old so new
To fill your heart like no three words could ever do
I just called to say I love you
I just called to say how much I care, I do
I just called to say I love you
And I mean it from the bottom of my heart
I just called to say I love you
I just called to say how much I care, I do
I just called to say I love you
And I mean it from the bottom of my heart, of my heart,
of my heart
I just called to say I love you
I just called to say how much I care, I do
I just called to say I love you
And I mean it from the bottom of my heart, of my heart,
baby of my heart

But I just felt like this...

Turmoils in US
These days something strange is going on in the States. From one side the state has gone completely mad and from the other side the society fights back. It is interesting, that in one week three different cases have attracted my attention, but I think that I wasn't whose attention was focused. I hope so that this was across the US wide heard. Anyway, let me begin.
A court in the US has ordered a woman to pay a $222,000 for illegally file-sharing music. The jury ordered Jammie Thomas, 32, from Minnesota, to pay to offering to share 24 specific songs online - a cost of $9,250 per song. I mean WTF?!?! Poor music industry has finally won it's first court case against the almighty and very powerful pirate. Lucky them. And now finally they will eradicate this dangerous disease called piracy. READ MORE
The next one is more interesting. It comes form Vermont, one of the most liberal and progressive US state. It is the state that opposed slavery long before other states. It is the state that elected its first socialistic congressman Bernie Sanders. It was the first state to approve same-sex civil unions. Montpelier is the only state capital in the US to have no McDonald's restaurant. And now Vermont is a home to a growing movement agitating for outright secession from the United States. The modern independence movement campaigns that the United States has lost its moral authority. They argue that the "US empire" is unsustainable. I must admit that I was very pleasantly surprised to read, that finally someone has spoken out of the official Washington - CNN attitude. Especially that this "someone" is Vermont. The progressive voice of America. READ MORE
And the last one is about the Columbus Day. I mean about the growing unpopularity of the celebration of the Columbus Day. Especially this was the case in Denver, where actually protesters have disrupted the Columbus Day parade. It is interesting that Colorado was the first state, that in 1905 has officially started to celebrate this day. It seems to me, that someone is concerned about rewriting the history. READ MORE
Well, that's all folks. Public voice has once again spoken up. Is there anyone in Washington to listen a bit?

Bulgaria vol. 2
After fantastic week in Bulgaria this summer (29th July - 4th August, Active Summer Camp) , once again I had a wonderful time in Bulgaria. This time it was only 3 days, but it was really nice. Yes, you read correctly, 3 days. We should stayed there for 4 days, but unfortunately we got visa for only 3 days. Stupid bureaucracy!
OK, I won't bother you this time with the visa problems.I promise I will write only about the nice things.
This time the purpose of our journey to Bulgaria was the "International Meeting of Young Psychologists" organised by the The Association of Young Psychologists in Bulgaria. The meeting took place in the beautiful city of Blagoevgrad.
It is a nice small city, just a 3 hours drive from Skopje. Blagoevgrad has a many little narrow streets full of restaurants, coffee bars, pubs and little shops. It reminds me very much of some Greek or other Mediterranean cities. It is also amazing that the city is full of young people, due to the fact that Blagoevgrad is a university center. Anyway it was really nice walking down the streets among so many young people. When you ad to this the perfect weather conditions that we had there during our visit (it was real summer), it was love at first sight for me. Enough about the city, they say that one picture is worthy than a thousand words, therefore you should visit Blagoevgrad and see what I'm talking about.
Now little bit more about the social side of the meeting. Boy, that was something. It was really nice to meet such a nice people from so many countries. I enjoyed every single moment of our socialising. I especially enjoyed the time I've spent with the teams from Bulgaria, Croatia, Holland and Poland. I can remember that I conquered the hearts of the Bulgarian fellows with the sentence "One nation, two states", which refers to the similarity and the close relations, ties, mentality etc. between the Macedonian and Bulgarian people. It is funny, because from one side for this sentence I can get beaten up in Macedonia and from the other side I have been cheered up for the same thing in Bulgaria. Yes, it is really funny how do history & politics mixed together work out, here in the Balkans, especially in Macedonia, Bulgaria and Greece. At the end we have all laughed at each other understanding the joke and recognising the stupidity, the irony of Balkan's politics.
Here are some of the photos from our time spent together:
1. Me and the Polish girls: Karolina, Me, Monika

2. Everybody dancing the Macedonian, ooops sorry, Bulgarian traditional dance

3. Part of the Bulgarian team: Sto, Ani, fogot his name, Pepi
4. Macedonian girls studying in Bulgaria: Katica and forgot her name

5. Part of the Croatian team and a Macedonian girl: Alina, Andro, Kosta, Danela

6. Macedonian team: Slavco, Kalina, Daniela, Me

7. Me and Ceciel from Holland

8.Croatian beauty: Tena and Anica

9. Me and Ani from Bulgaria

10. Me and forgot his name and Eleonora

11. Sto and forgot his name and Alina and Ani dancing the sexy moves

12. Croatian mystic

13. Some Bulgarian girls dancing in the cage - awesome!!!

14. They were really nice: Anica and Tena

15. Finally: the last supper

So, girls and boys, thank you for the wonderful time we have spent together. Ani, Aleksandar, Katica, Tena, Eleonora, Anica, Ceciel, Kosta, Milena, Pepi, Boris, Rose, Karolina, Monika, Andro, Alina, Sto, Martina, Sara - I love you all!!!
P.S. Sorry if I forgot someone.

New bike
I have bought myself a new bike. OK it's not that new, actually it is a second-hand bike, but it is new for me. It is also well preserved bike and I already like it very much. Love at first sight.
I don't know if you have noticed, but it has funny orange coloured wheels. Those wheels are the real trademark and they give true personality to the bike. And of course they are Made in China. I really hope that I won't get poisoned by that suspicious chinese product. We shall see. If I don't write in the next 24 hours please call 911.

RIP : Luciano Pavarotti
My favorite opera tenor Luciano Pavarotti died today. He was at the age of 71 when he died at his home at Modena (the city of his birth) after suffering a pancreatic cancer.

I'm really sad. Sad because he was responsible for introducing me in to the world of opera, in to the magic world of opera music. I can remember the first time when I have heard him, it was on the eve of the 1990 FIFA World Cup Final when he was singing alongside with Placido Domingo and Jose Carreras (later this trio of tenors was known as The Three Tenors) .

I can also remember that one of my first CD`s I have bought by myself, was some compilation of Luciano Pavarotti. Damn. I can clearly see that moment. After I was saving money for more than a three weeks, I got to the store. The picture was like this : there was a little confused boy standing in the front of the shop manager and asking for Pavarotti`s CD (I was that boy for sure). Than I got some confusing, rather strange, facial expression on manager`s face, meaning "Are you sure boy?" and I was just staring him with my big blue eyes and shaking up and down with my head. After few seconds of this nonverbal communication he has finally given me the CD. I was so proud and I was only 10 years old. So, I can say that I have literally grew up with his music.
I'm still pretty sad and shocked, therefore I don't know what else to write. I'm going to simply play his CD`s again.
I can just say one big THANK YOU! I've enjoyed your singing and I will continue enjoying it, you great man. You, always smiling big man.

Requiescat in pace, Pavarotti!
